Cleo

A farm brewery with cattle a short wheelbarrow push away. I'd keep a dignified distance, then claim the sunniest seat on the terrace.

Bonnie

There's lots of space and a food truck out front. Gyros! I'd sit very nicely by the van. And it's named after dogs like me, obviously.

The pawrents

Hairy Dog is a small craft brewery on More House Farm at Wivelsfield, about 8 miles north of Lewes, so one for a drive with a designated driver.

More from the pawrents

Its taproom and shop pour an ever-changing range of its own beers, plus wine, spirits and soft drinks, with street food trucks and a south-facing seating area. The beer, the friendly staff and the relaxed weekend feel are the draw, and it makes a fine stop on a Friday dog walk. Children and dogs are more than welcome. Open Friday 4 to 11, Saturday 1 to 9, Sunday 12 to 6.

We don't know yet: muddy dogs, space, cosy fireplace and step-free. $Or a rule that's changed, where dogs can go, water bowls. How you know helps too.

Only so we can ask you about it. We won't add you to anything, and it's never shown.
